Location: Rugby– Hybrid (1 day per week from home)
Are you a natural communicator who thrives on the phone?
Do you have the drive and resilience to book and generate new business appointments? If so, we would love to hear from you. This role won’t suit someone who prefers admin or customer service – it’s all about sales, hunting and business development.
My client is a fast-growing packaging company looking for an internal sales professional to join their team. This role is all about creating opportunities, driving conversations, and helping us expand their client base.
The role:
- Making outbound calls to prospects to introduce products and services
- Generating and booking qualified appointments for the wider sales team
- Building and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities
- Following up on warm leads as well as proactively sourcing new ones
- Representing the business in a professional, enthusiastic, and consultative manner
The candidate:
- Someone who loves being on the phone and isn’t afraid of rejection (this is more important than experience)
- Resilience, tenacity, and a relentless attitude when it comes to generating opportunities
- Confidence in starting conversations and building rapport
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Experience in sales, telesales, or lead generation is preferred (but not essential if you have the drive!)
In return:
- Basic salary up to £35,000 DOE
- Realistic OTE £40,000 – uncapped commission structure
- Hybrid working – 1 day per week from home
