How to get a job into Customer Service

Ways that you can get experience is through Volunteering, with Work Experience or even getting a Part time customer service job.
Additionally, you can also get into the industry via apprenticeships or courses. Here are a couple of ways to get into the industry:
- City and Guilds offer Level 1 and Level 2 Customer Service courses.
- The Institute of Customer Service also has some great entry and upskilling courses available.
If you’re going to apply directly, without any training, the basic requirements to get a customer service job is some GCSE or equivalent qualifications, strong communication skills and a approachable personality.
