How to get a job in Finance
You don’t need to be a mathematician to get a job in finance. Like many jobs in the UK, you just need to have a basic understanding of maths- typically GCSE level. But, you’ll often find that you’ll need to get additional qualifications to help you along your finance career. That being said, there are several routes for you to get into finance including
- Obtaining a bachelor's degree (in finance or closely related fields)
- Going through an apprenticeship (also known as a school leaver programme), if this is a route that you want to go down AAT is the best qualification to complete.
