My client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage high value existing accounts. You will be at the forefront of nurturing existing client relationships while proactively identifying new business opportunities that fuel growth and profitability.
The role:
- Managing an existing customer base ensuring customer needs are met.
- Meeting customers regularly conducting service reviews.
- Hitting (or better yet, exceeding) annual targets – because you love a challenge!
- Developing new business relationships and turning prospects into long-term clients.
- Ensuring profitability by keeping margins healthy and targets met.
- Handling new business enquiries
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth planning and forecasting.
- Resolving customer issues with speed, efficiency, and a can-do attitude.
- Keeping track of all things sales – reports, client opportunities, and project feasibility.
- Keeping everyone in the loop – from project managers to account teams.
The candidate:
- At least 3 years of B2B sales experience within manufacturing.
- A proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
- A deep understanding of sales processes and how to close deals.
- Killer communication skills – listening, negotiating, and influencing.
- A self-motivated, positive, and goal-driven mindset.
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks while keeping cool under pressure.
- Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
