My client is a telecommunications business who is now looking to recruit an experienced IT professional to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The role
As an IT Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the wider business with all day-to-day queries. This could be IT administration, setting up new users, hardware issues including first line support issues.
Working with a ticket system you will support a team of 140.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as first point of contact for any IT issues
- Quick response to technical queries
- Respond to tickets and emails in a prompt manner
- Provide remote support and guidance to users
- Document support activities effectively
- Aid the implementation of IT projects and upgrades
- Install, complete and maintain computer systems
The Candidate
- Experience in a similar IT role
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting techniques
- Able to work independently
- Exceptional communication and customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
