Do you enjoy selling but prefer a mix of sales and service?
My client is a national organisation who due to a recent promotion is looking to recruit an Internal Sales professional to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
In this role, you will split your time between outbound sales activity (around 50% of your day) and supporting the Business Development Manager with quotes, admin, and client coordination. If you’re someone who enjoys building rapport, keeping things organised, and playing a key part in a busy sales environment — this could be the ideal next step in your career.
The role:
- Making outbound sales calls to warm and cold leads
- Qualifying prospects and booking appointments for the external sales team
- Following up on marketing campaigns and inbound enquiries
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and call notes
- Supporting the BDM with quotes, proposals, and presentations
- Processing sales orders and raising purchase orders
- Liaising with production to track order status and lead times
- Helping with invoicing, delivery queries, and general customer support
The candidate:
- Previous sales experience is essential preferably B2B
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable making outbound calls and working toward targets
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with quoting and invoicing systems
- A desire to progress into a direct sales or account management role
